Wednesday Night LIVE!(formerly known as Kids' Club)
We have some exciting changes happening at Oxboro in our Kids' Ministry area. In order to focus and develop one area we are sad to have to put other areas "on hold" for a time. Wednesday Night Live is one area that is being put "on hold". Our team has been meeting and prayerfully considering the direction God would have our ministry take and how to best steward the resources that He has entrusted us with.
The decision was made to take a hiatus from Wednesday night programming and put our focus into a dynamic, challenging and age-appropriate worship time for our preschool and K-5th Grade kids on Sunday mornings - THINK ORANGE. We would like to extend a warm and welcome invitation to have your kids join us at 10:00 am on sunday mornings for relationship building, a large group worship and message time, and small groups that allow the kids to immediately put into practice and reinforce the Biblical truths presented.
From now until the end of the year we will be asking the kids to JUMP! and put their faith in motion by studying Paul's journey to Damascus. Our goal is to make Sunday morning the best hour of the week for all kids in attendance. Our prayer is that your kids (and you, of course, are more than welcome, too!) will join us for this unique learning time.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. Your children are precious to us adn to God and we want to be able to make a significant impact in their lives so that they are equipped at a young age to make a difference in their world for teh Kingdom of God.
Miss Sharon is going on her mission trip to the AMAZON in November. She will be taking along all of the things we bought with our Vacation Bible School offering. When she returns she will be sharing her awesome experice of sharing God's word with the children and their families. We will post her report in December.
