Ben Groen - Senior Pastor
Ben completed his undergraduate degree from Northwestern College (now University of Northwestern, St. Paul) and received his Master’s Degree from Bethel Seminary. He started out at Oxboro as an intern in 2008 with the student ministry where he met his wife Anna, who was also an intern. They got married in 2010 and have three girls, Ruthie, Evie and Norah that bring joy to their lives. It was also in 2010 that Ben became the full-time Associate Pastor and he had that position until January 2017 when he become Oxboro’s Senior Pastor. Ben’s primary passion aligns with the mission of Oxboro church—moving all people closer to Christ. His life has been transformed through what Christ has done on the cross and this is what we get to pursue together as a church.

Amy Becker - Interim Youth Director
Amy graduated from the University of Northwestern St. Paul with a dual degree in Youth and Family Studies and Bible. She loves camp and spent seven summers working at Camp Shamineau before working year-round for Shamineau International. She has almost 10 years of experience in youth ministry between being a camp counselor, a youth leader, and currently leading English and Bible camps overseas. Amy has a huge heart for helping teenagers know God’s crazy love and the abundant life He offers in Christ! In her spare time, she loves exploring the great outdoors, reading good books, playing all kinds of games, and having deep, life-giving conversations about Jesus!
Luanne Mullet - Children's Ministry Director
Luanne graduated from the University of Northwestern St. Paul with a degree in Elementary Education and later a Masters Degree in Reading for K-12 from Concordia University. She taught in elementary schools in the Mounds View school district for the past eight years. Luanne and her husband Marshall got married in 2008 and have two young kids Sophia and Oliver. Playing sports, cooking, and hosting family and friends are a few of her favorite things to do in her free time. Shawn Brown - Minister of Music
Shawn graduated with a Masters of Accounting from Truman State University in Kriksville, MO. He and Angela have been married for 25 years and they have a beautiful daughter. Before coming to Oxboro, Shawn worked in various finance and accounting roles in insurance and debt collection industries. Currently he is a Controller at a local financial services firm as well as leading worship at Oxboro. Watching U of Michigan football, camping and canoeing and working as a high school guys small group leader at church are at the top of Shawn's list for what he enjoys doing. Psalm 119:32 reminds him of the freedom that comes from following the Father's commands in His written Word and listening to the leading of His Holy Spirit. Kathy Hamann - Office/Facilities Administrator
Kathy attended Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI. and is a classically trained Mezzo Soprano. While she doesn't sing much classical music anymore, she is very involved in the music ministry here at Oxboro. Kathy has been in the office at Oxboro since 1998. She and her husband Bob have been married for 40 years as of June 2018. They have 2 grown children a lovely daughter-in-law and an adorable grandson. Singing, travel, reading, walking and dinner with friends top Kathy's interest list. She has been involved with the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk for the Cure since 2005 either as a walker or crew member. The Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue is also lucky to have Kathy volunteer for them. While they don’t have a great dane now, they have a giant schnauzer, Loki, and a Humane Society “mutt”, Lucy. Two of the scriptures that Kathy leans on are Psalm 23 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Lori Zurich - Secretary
Lori graduated from Bethel University, St. Paul, MN back when it was still Bethel College, with a degree in Seconday Education/Language Arts. She has been married to Ray for 21 years and their son now attends the University of Sioux Falls. Before coming to Oxboro in 2010 Lori worked as an English teacher at Carl Hayden Community High School in Phoenix, AZ, was a yearbook sales representative in MN for Herff Jones, did computer training at MNETA and worked in retail at Mainstream Boutique. Cooking, baking, scrapbooking and shopping are on Lori's "to do list" when she isn't working. Taking photos at her son's sporting events and directing the Vacation Bible School at the church are two of her highlights each summer. It was freshman year at Bethel when Jeremiah 29:11 became her life verse. it's comforting knowing that God has great plans for our life even when we wonder what in the world is going on!
